About

Our Facility

Our new clinic continues to offer care for our cats and dogs but we are continuing to improve our in-house equine/large animal care. Please call to ask about what services we provide for large animals at the clinic!

When you arrive:

Please check in at the front office. If arriving more than 10 minutes ahead of your appointment, please wait in your car and we will let you know when we are ready!

All animals must be on a leash or in a pet carrier. If you forgot a leash, let the front desk know – we have extras! If your dog needs to take a bathroom break, please use the lawn behind the clinic as our front lawn is newly seeded. Dog bags and a trash can are located at the front door for your convenience.

If hauling in horses or livestock, please do not unload until you have checked in with the front desk. Please park alongside the barked tree border at the back of the clinic.

Dr. Ana Kidder

As a native Whidbey Islander, Dr. Kidder is happy to be settled back at home. A 2019 graduate of Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kidder bought the practice in January 2022. She has a special interest in equine preventative care (especially dental health!) and loves supporting the agricultural heritage of Whidbey Island. Although she planned to practice large animal medicine, she enjoys the diversity that mixed animal medicine brings to the practice every day! When not at the office, she can be found at home in her garden or working on projects with her husband Clint, Greta their golden retriever, Pickles the cat, George her trail pony, Bramble the miniature horse, Rikki the miniature donkey, Martha her retired milk cow, two pet geese, a flock of hens and some needy old sheep.

Dr. Seirra Seay

Dr. Seay joined the team in June 2023. She is from Fayetteville, West Virginia. Before getting her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University, she received a bachelor’s degree in biology from West Virginia University Institute of Technology. She grew up riding and showing horses, primarily hunter jumper. Throughout her high school and undergraduate education, she worked as a barn manager at a horseback trail guide service. Her top interests in veterinary medicine include the variety of species that mixed animal medicine brings and soft tissue surgery! While not at work, Dr. Seay enjoys camping with her husband Terry, Stella the cholocate lab, Sheriff a Mississippi Mutt, and Timber the cat (yes, the cat also goes camping). (Also, to answer the most-asked question, Seay is pronounced “sea” like the ocean.)

Evie

Evie is our Veterinary Technician Assistant. She graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with a bachelor’s degree in Biology (emphasis in Marine Science) in 2021. Afterwards, she spent 3 and a half years working with Bottlenose Dolphins, Harbor seals, Orcas, and more! as a Zoological Specialist at SeaWorld San Antonio. She joined us the summer of 2025 when the Navy transplanted her family to Whidbey Island. She has two cats (Coleslaw and Tally-Taho) at home that keep her busy. Evie is our go-to-gal in the office when we have a project needing that extra creative flair (and don’t tell the rest of the staff, but she is Stevie’s office favorite!). Evie spends her free time dabbling in costume sewing (human and feline haha), crochet, playing video games, and spending quality time with her husband, Cam, and their fur children.

Ashley

Ashley is our receptionist. She grew up in Anacortes, lived in the Burlington area, and moved to Oak Harbor 3 years ago. She is married to her highschool sweetheart, raising two wonderful teens, and loves spending time outdoors.  She enjoys gardening, hiking, crafting, baking, and exploring the beautiful PNW with family.  Her property is busy caring for her horse (Milo), two dogs (Bailey Grace a goldendoodle and Madison Joy a havanese), three cats (Oreo, Skye, and Charlton), a flock of chickens, a handsome Rhode Island Red rooster (Stanley), and a goofy mixed rooster (Hey-Hey). Previously, she spent 15 years as a cosmetologist in Skagit County. Her time working with the public in different settings has made her an asset caring for and understanding people’s needs. She is happy to be a part of this team and fulfill a childhood dream of working at a veterinary clinic.

 Stevie

Stevie is our office supervisor. While he is a man of many talents, his favorite office tasks include performing daily quality control of all treats entering and exiting the clinic and making sure that patient accommodations are up to snuff. You’ll have to excuse his sometimes rowdy behavior (his love language is physical touch and occasionally nibbles on the odd hand), but he really is a super office cat!
